# How To Make It:

01 - Arrange 8 clear cups with 6 to 8 ounce capacity on a work surface.
02 - Dissolve red gelatin in 1 cup boiling water, stirring for 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup cold water and stir. Divide mixture evenly among cups, approximately 2 tablespoons per cup. Position cups at a slight angle using a muffin tin for support. Refrigerate 45 to 60 minutes until completely set.
03 - Sprinkle unflavored gelatin over 1/2 cup cold water in a clean bowl and allow to bloom for 5 minutes. Pour 1/2 cup boiling water over bloomed gelatin and stir until fully dissolved. Mix in sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Cool to room temperature.
04 - Once red layer is fully set, carefully pour white layer over top, about 2 tablespoons per cup. Return cups to upright position and refrigerate 45 to 60 minutes until firm.
05 - Dissolve blue gelatin in 1 cup boiling water, stirring for 2 minutes. Stir in 1/2 cup cold water. Allow mixture to cool to room temperature.
06 - Pour cooled blue gelatin gently over white layer, approximately 2 tablespoons per cup. Refrigerate upright for at least 2 hours until fully set.
07 - Top each cup with whipped cream and fresh berries immediately before serving.

# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • The layers actually stay separate and gorgeous if you follow the chilling times, which feels like a small kitchen victory every single time.
  • Kids and adults both get excited about the visual drama, and it's honestly one of the easiest ways to look like you spent way more effort than you did.
  • No special baking skills needed, just patience and a willingness to let the fridge do the heavy lifting.
02 -
  • Every layer must be completely set before the next one goes in, and I mean completely, because if you rush it, your beautiful stripes will bleed into each other and you'll end up with a purple swirl situation.
  • Always let your Jello cool to room temperature before pouring it onto the previous layer, or you'll literally melt through all your hard work in seconds.
03 -
  • If you forget to let your Jello cool and you accidentally start melting the layer below, pour it back into the bowl and stick it in an ice bath for a few minutes to cool it down faster.
  • Make these the day before your event so you're not stressed the morning of, and they honestly taste better when they've had time to properly set.
